Hyundai Sedans: Stylish and Affordable

The selection of new Hyundai sedans at AutoMax Hyundai of Del City has something for each of our Midwest City and Oklahoma City drivers. Hyundai has built some of the most dependable, affordable, and good looking sedans for years, and the most recent models have no trouble outclassing their competitors.

The Legacy of Hyundai Sedans

For over 30 years, Hyundai has shown American drivers that they don’t have to compromise on style when shopping for a car on a budget. Hyundai sedans and coupes have always embraced a design that favors style while other affordable cars tend to put good looks at the bottom of their priorities. Vehicles like the Elantra and the Sonata have built their own legacies over years, and we’ve noticed many drivers simply upgrading their Hyundai vehicles when it’s time for a new car instead of even considering another model.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra

Drivers looking for a car that’s more than just a set of wheels should make the 2017 Hyundai Elantra their first stop. The recently redesigned sedan is loaded with advanced features and still delivers the value that has made Hyundai sedans famous. See the highlights for yourself:

  • Powertrain: Under the hood of the Elantra is a 147-hp 2.0L four-cylinder with 132 lb.-ft. of torque, earning as much as 38 mpg/highway and 29 mpg/city for 33 mpg combined. The Elantra Eco hits 40 mpg/highway and 32 mpg/city with its 128-hp turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder.
  • Trim Levels: The SE, Eco, and Limited trim levels give drivers the choice between the well-appointed base model, the luxurious Limited, or the advanced and efficient Eco trim.
  • Technology Features: Available tech features on the Elantra SE include Bluetooth for phone and audio, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, a rearview camera system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Upgrades like Hyundai Blue Link, additional USB charging ports and navigation make it easy to customize the Elantra.

This versatile small sedan is just the latest from Hyundai, the most recent of four five-passenger cars; keep reading to learn about the rest.

The 2016 Hyundai Azera

The 2016 Hyundai Azera takes the design aesthetic of the Hyundai sedan and decks it out with luxury and technology. A true full-size sedan that compromises for neither style nor substance, it’s tough to go wrong with the Azera.

  • Powertrain: Powering each Azera is a 3.3L V6 engine rated at 293 hp and 255 lb.-ft. of torque, paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and earning as much as 29 mpg/highway and 20 mpg/city.
  • Trim Levels: The Azera’s near-luxury status means it has just two trim levels, the incredibly well-appointed base model and the even more luxurious Limited trim level. Features like leather upholstery, a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and heated and ventilated front seats are standard.
  • Technology Features: From Hyundai Blue Link telematics and Bluetooth connectivity to an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system to a 14-speaker Infinity stereo system, the base Azera is one of the most well-appointed models in its class. Available upgrades like lane departure and forward collision warning enhance safety while ambient interior lighting keeps the Azera feeling comfortable.

We love seeing a driver head off behind the wheel of the 2016 Azera, realizing they found an incredible deal on a sedan that goes toe-to-toe with luxury sedans.

While the Azera is a full-size sedan that borders on the luxury car world, the 2016 Hyundai Genesis takes its cues from sport sedans, available with two different engines and driver’s choice of rear- or all-wheel drive.

  • Powertrain: A 3.8L V6 is standard with 311 hp and 293 lb.-ft. of torque, earning 29 mpg/highway and 18 mpg/city on RWD models. The 5.0L V8 of the Ultimate trim kicks out 420 hp and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, coming standard with all-wheel drive and earning up to 23 mpg/highway and 15 mpg/city.

  • Technology Features: Hyundai makes it easy to stay connected with the standard Bluetooth, Blue Link telematics, an 8-inch touchscreen interface with navigation, and more. Signature, Tech, and Ultimate packages add new levels to the interior features, including matte-finish wood and aluminum trim and upgraded leather upholstery.

In addition to the latest technology, the Genesis has exterior amenities ranging from auto-leveling headlights to a power trunk lid to advanced safety features like front-and rear parking sensors and automatic high beams.
